YOUTH CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

The Legacy Foundation is dedicated to fostering character development among young student-athletes in partnering basketball programs throughout the Valley. In 2021, we launched our high school basketball Team Mentorship Program with just two local teams. Today, we’re proud to be working with three schools, and we are committed to expanding this number each year.

We carefully select teams that can benefit from guidance not only on the basketball court, but also off it. These programs, young athletes, and their families often face significant challenges. The core mission of our mentorship program is to inspire hope — hope for a brighter future and a better life.

Our approach is rooted in year-round character development and mentorship, complemented by providing vital resources every month. In October 2023, we introduced a newly developed character development curriculum designed to guide students toward becoming better and different in every aspect of life.

Looking ahead, our vision is clear: to strengthen the depth of our impact and expand our reach to more schools. Every step we take is focused on ensuring that our message resonates deeply with these young adults, helping them build a clearer and more positive vision for their futures.
